Clinic Hours are:

Monday: 9.00 am - 4.30 pm.
Tuesday: 9.00 am - 4.30 pm
Wednesday: 9.00 am - 4.30 pm
Thursday: 9.00 am - 4.30 pm
Friday: 9.00 am - 12.30 pm.

The service is free - no appointments are necessary.

Referral to local practitioners if applicable can be arranged.

The Student Health Service exists to care for staff and students by:

  • Providing emergency assistance in the event of an accident on campus
  • Maintaining a Health Clinic staffed by a nurse - room LD 108, 5 days/week
  • Providing ongoing education in disease prevention and health promotion
  • Providing a safe environment for students or staff to discuss issues
  • All visits are treated confidentially

Areas addressed include:

  • Sexual health information
  • Drug information
  • Asthma (respiratory problems)
  • Quit (anti-smoking)
  • Migraine
  • Diabetes/Nutrition/Eating Problems
  • Womens Health issues e.g. menopause
  • Mens Health issues
  • Stress related health problems
  • Blood pressure and blood sugar monitoring

Medications for minor ailments are available.
