Clinic Hours are:
Monday: 9.00 am - 4.30 pm.
Tuesday: 9.00 am - 4.30 pm
Wednesday: 9.00 am - 4.30 pm
Thursday: 9.00 am - 4.30 pm
Friday: 9.00 am - 12.30 pm.
The service is free - no appointments are necessary.
Referral to local practitioners if applicable can be arranged.
The Student Health Service exists to care for staff and students by:
- Providing emergency assistance in the event of an accident on campus
- Maintaining a Health Clinic staffed by a nurse - room LD 108, 5 days/week
- Providing ongoing education in disease prevention and health promotion
- Providing a safe environment for students or staff to discuss issues
- All visits are treated confidentially
Areas addressed include:
- Sexual health information
- Drug information
- Asthma (respiratory problems)
- Quit (anti-smoking)
- Migraine
- Diabetes/Nutrition/Eating Problems
- Womens Health issues e.g. menopause
- Mens Health issues
- Stress related health problems
- Blood pressure and blood sugar monitoring
Medications for minor ailments are available.
