The Faculty of Higher Education, Lilydale is multi-disciplinary and innovative, specialising in Business, Communication, Social Science, Technology and Writing.  

The faculty offers quality on-campus undergraduate and postgraduate programs through to PhD and is also an industry leader in online learning, giving our students access to innovative online programs and blended delivery.

Currently Swinburne is undergoing significant changes that take the university forward on its journey to be Australia's leading university for science, technology and innovation. One of these changes has been the difficult decision to cease teaching TAFE and higher education courses at Lilydale from July 2013. It is important, to emphasise that Lilydale higher education students will continue in the course they are currently enrolled in, following the move to Hawthorn in July 2013. Furthermore, all Lilydale higher education degrees will be offered at Hawthorn for new students in semester one, 2013.
